Highly unusual interpretation of the London Underground map, published to promote the summer olympic games in London in 2012. The names of the most renowned summer olympic athletes of all times such as Michael Phelps, Carl Lewis, Paavo Nurmi and 358 others have been used instead of the names of the tube stations, with special emphasis given to athletes who have won more than 5 gold medals, renowned athletes who have not won a gold or any other olympic medal and athletes who have starred in movies. The map was designed by Alex Trickett, editor for the BBC sport website, and sports historian David Brooks.
Moderate crumbling around the horizontal center of the map, otherwise good condition. Will be shipped rolled in a tube.
