How It Begun
1990's
As a child, I was always captivated by the allure of maps and atlases. While other kids played with toys, I found myself lost in the intricate details of geographical landscapes and historical journeys. My fascination only grew as I delved deeper into the realms of knowledge, spending hours poring over atlases and encyclopedias, tracing imaginary voyages across the pages.
2018
Growing older, my interests evolved, leading me down the path of graphic design and web development. I honed my skills in crafting digital landscapes, but the pull of the past never waned. It wasn't until about 2018, when I accidentally stumbled upon a beautifully preserved Stielers Handatlas from 1910, that my passion for antique atlases was reignited.
Present
From that moment on, I was hooked. The allure of holding a piece of history in my hands, tracing the footsteps of explorers long gone, became an obsession. Each discovery felt like uncovering a hidden treasure, a testament to the dedication and hard work of those who came before us. And so, fueled by my love for these relics of the past, I embarked on a new journey - the creation of Atlaseum, a business dedicated to preserving and sharing the beauty of antique and vintage cartography with the world.
