Second revised edition of pictorial plan of the Pilsner monuments designed by Czech architect and designer Ladislav Lauda, originally published in 1939. The plan covers the historical downtown of the city of Pilsen, Czechia, and is augmented with 4 inset maps: plan of the St. Bartholomew church (the tallest church in Czech Republic) including its interior features, the plan of Franciscan monastery, the plan of the city fortification from 14th to 17th century and the plans of the city museum and the city theater. Along the edges, the map is decorated by 44 drawings of renaissance and gothic door portals and 22 drawings of buildings and fortification, destroyed mostly during the expansion of the city behind its walls in the second half of 19th century.
