Beautiful and rich pictorial map of tourist attractions in Slovakia. The was issued as part of a promotional tourist booklet which contains information of just about every place portrayed on the map.
Ladislav Lauda was a Czech architect professor and author of several publications about history of architecture, born in Pilsen in 1889. During his career he designed several pictorial maps of former Czechoslovakia. Among the most important maps are Názorné plány Prahy, Kulturní mapa republiky Československé, Mapa zaujímavostí cestovného ruchu na Slovensku and pictorial map of his hometown Pilsen. He worked as teacher working in Sarajevo (Serbia), Spišská Nová Ves (Slovakia) and Pilsen, where he also died in 1963.
