Original pictorial map of the Principal Islands of Southern Britain, namely The Isle of Man, The Scilly Isles, The Isle of Wight, and The Channel Isles (Guernsey, Jersey, Herm, Alderney, Sark). The map was designed by A.E. Taylor and published by Esso, the petrol selling company, to promote auto tourism which was on the rise since the beginning of the 20th century. The map is enhanced by finely engraved cartouches, decorative wind rose, coats of arms of four most important islands and also table os distances within The Isle ofMan, The Channel Isles and The Isles of Wight.
