Original antique chart of "Comparative overview of the most important streams", published originaly in Meyers Zeitungs Atlas around 1850 as map No. 104, showing 30 schematic streams and their comparative lengths in miles, including principal cities and lakes along the rivers. Missouri (including Mississippi) river is presumed to be the longest of all, followed by Amazon river, Jenisei, Jan-tse, Nile, Obi, Wolga and others.
