Antique steel engraved chart of "Comparative overview of known heights and locations on earth above the sea level", originally issued in Meyers Zeitungs Atlas and Meyer's Neuer Conversations Lexicon. The chart is divided into sections based on continents and the altitude measurement are given "Toise" units and in Paris feet. Dhaulagiri is shown as the world's highest mountain according to this chart. Following interesting information appear after closer inspection:

• the highest altitude ever achieved by a man (3016 Toise) - the summit of Chimborazo, reached by Alexandr Humboldt and Jean-Baptiste Boussingault on June 26, 1802 (see the two figures next to the Chimborazo mountain)
