Original French vintage map of High Tatras mountains, the highest mountain range in Slovakia, promoting tourism in the region. The map shows principle peaks, lakes, railways, main tourist tracks. Famous funicular connecting Tatranská Lomnica and second highest Slovakian peak Lomnický Štít, opened shortly before publishing of this map, can be found on the right side of the map. Another notable feature portrayed is the cableway (a railway which used a cable for pulling the trains on opposite sides), connecting Nový Smokovec and Hrebienok. The area covered by this map spans from eastern part of Western Tatras to Belanské Tatry. On the back side the map contains 8 photographs, 2 beautiful artworks, tourist information about climate, accommodation, places to visit and local transport etc.
Good condition, with bright colours and strong impression. Some closed tears along folds present.
