Very rare first edition of the Stielers Hand-Atlas in the medium sized volume with 63 maps (including the title page). The title page shows the date 1939, although the latest updated map holds the revision year 1841.
Complete, containing all 63 maps (including a title page). Original binding with covers and spine somewhat rubbed, but intact with no tears to the spine. Title page and several (only European) maps contain ink markings. Two maps with ink stain at the margin (not affecting the maps themselves). No loose pages. Maps of America and Australia in good condition with no writings.
