Extremely rare set of educational lithography diagrams was based on the English 'Diagrams of Geology, History and Physical Geography', published by James Reynolds in mid 19th century (around 1846-1850) in the UK. These german version of these plates were published by Wilhelm Nitzschke in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany.
The geographical plate number one (Moving image of the earth) has a special feature - both hemispheres are cutouts attached to the plate with a string in the center, thus able to rotate freely. Other plates cover topics like Geology, physical geography, antediluvian history of the Earth, comparative charts of the mountains, rivers, lakes and waterfalls, human races and the history of the mankind.

The boards are pretty fine externally, with very little signs of age. The yellow inner paper is torn in folds but still remains in one piece attached to the cover boards. One plate missing (number 10 - comparative chart of the heights of buildings). Plates themselves are in very good condition.
